Take the plunge

VBS was a lot of fun last week and I hope you all had as much fun as I did. Melanie and Jody have left a card of thanks to the youth group for anyone who cares to see it is in my office. It says

The lock in was a BLAST!!!

We all had fun at the lock in on Friday night, we beat the record for the last lock in I did and stayed up til 6:30 then some decided to take a nap although congrats to Jeromie and Edward for staying awake the longest, with the record time of no sleep!... I have some pics for you all to take a look at...I also need you all to pick a movie for the Drive in we are setting up. Let me know what you want to play... keep it family friendly please.

BLAST Off!

So part of our group is now off on their exciting journey to Pennsylvania, I hope we all remember to keep them in prayer this week, not just for safe travel but also that they will be able to bring back what they learn and apply it here.

As for the rest of us... we have tons of work to do. Raking will begin tomorrow at 2:00 bring a rake and come and join us for step one of our outreach. Also we need to pick a movie... suggestions are always welcome. I look forward to hearing yours.

The tie is broken!

The new YG name is.... as you can see above... BLAST... So we will "Blast" off on Thursday night at 6. Don't forget your bible!

Xtreme Xchange was awesome and I thought I would post some picture of the day for you all to check out. Hope you all had a great time on Canada day! :D And don't forget Tuesday is the registration day for DRAMA club if any of you wanna join and have some fun.

NAME and EVENTS!

So... we are currently tied in the name vote area... so I can't give you a name yet. But we had two winners of our blog game this week. Chloe and Stephanie good job being the first to comment on each of the blogs.

Friday night's meeting went really well. We have set some events that we will have over the summer. We are also having a weekly meeting on Thursday nights from 6-8. See you then!

Also there is a grades 4 and up DRAMA program on Tuesday's from 6-8. (Adults are invited as well)

And a kids (age 5-10) program called amazing explorer's on Wednesday night's from 6-8. If you are interested in helping come and see me (Stephanie).

EVENTS:
July 13- Movie and a Lock-in. (If you are planning on coming you will need a permission slip for your parents to sign)

Montague Church of Christ Youth Group

Hi everyone! You don't know me yet but hopefully by the end of the summer we'll know each other. My name is Stephanie and I am blessed to have the opportunity to work with you this summer. I have started this blog so that I can do several things. First and most importantly it is a great way to contact all of you quickly. Secondly we can have a lot of fun on this.
