Youth Group Starts

HEY ALL!!!
So...I'm sure your all excited about school....well...okay...maybe that's not that exciting.
But here is something that should be!...Youth Group will start September 14th 6:30 (1830 for those that know military time) Not sure what is on the agenda just yet....but we'll be getting together to cover somethings....figure out what activities you guys/gals wanna do this year.

EXALT is October 19th-21st...I hope that you all want to go!!...I do!!

Please don't hesitate to call me anytime...I don't have scheduled "Hours" at the church just yet but call there and if I'm not there call my cell 902 313 0529!

So I'm leaving for Charlottetown today and I just wated to say ... please stay in touch!!!
I'm gonna be living at the college (for those of you who don't know where it is ... 503 University Ave, Charlottetown. across the street from the university) Feel free to pop in for a visit... we can hang out watch a movie or go to the mall... my phone number is 569 3436 (this one has an answering machine... but sometimes I hang out in the basement with everyone and the downstairs number is 569 3888. I look forward to hearing from you all and hopefully I'll be able to make my way out for BLAST. Thanks for an awesome summer!!!

Picnic at Henry's... Youth Service ... Kings Castle

Big week this week... DRAMA just had its final closing for the summer ... tomorrow is the closing of the Amazing Explorers and Thursday ... (oh I love thursdays) is the BBQ at Henry Somers house. If you are planning to attend (your families are invited as well) I need to know ASAP. If you do not email me I will call until I get an answer (:P) So ... EMAIL ...

It starts at 4!!!! Also we (BLAST) are doing our final service project for the summer tomorrow (Wednesday) we will be organizing the Sunday school supply room. Also for those of you who don't know Sunday is our youth service I hope to see you all involved in something. If you have something inparticular you would like to do Please come and see me or call the church. (838 4064) I would like to see you all involved in some way.

Following the Youth Service is the Sunday School kick off picnic at King's Castle!!! We invite you and all your families to come for a time of fun and games ... and FOOD!!! Bring your own deserts but drinks and BBQ provided! :D

I had a BLAST getting to know most of you this summer and look forward to getting to know you all more in the future!!!

VBS was a lot of fun last week and I hope you all had as much fun as I did. Melanie and Jody have left a card of thanks to the youth group for anyone who cares to see it is in my office. It says

The lock in was a BLAST!!!

We all had fun at the lock in on Friday night, we beat the record for the last lock in I did and stayed up til 6:30 then some decided to take a nap although congrats to Jeromie and Edward for staying awake the longest, with the record time of no sleep!... I have some pics for you all to take a look at...I also need you all to pick a movie for the Drive in we are setting up. Let me know what you want to play... keep it family friendly please.

So part of our group is now off on their exciting journey to Pennsylvania, I hope we all remember to keep them in prayer this week, not just for safe travel but also that they will be able to bring back what they learn and apply it here.

As for the rest of us... we have tons of work to do. Raking will begin tomorrow at 2:00 bring a rake and come and join us for step one of our outreach. Also we need to pick a movie... suggestions are always welcome. I look forward to hearing yours.

Xtreme Xchange was awesome and I thought I would post some picture of the day for you all to check out. Hope you all had a great time on Canada day! :D And don't forget Tuesday is the registration day for DRAMA club if any of you wanna join and have some fun.

So... we are currently tied in the name vote area... so I can't give you a name yet. But we had two winners of our blog game this week. Chloe and Stephanie good job being the first to comment on each of the blogs.

Friday night's meeting went really well. We have set some events that we will have over the summer. We are also having a weekly meeting on Thursday nights from 6-8. See you then!

Also there is a grades 4 and up DRAMA program on Tuesday's from 6-8. (Adults are invited as well)

And a kids (age 5-10) program called amazing explorer's on Wednesday night's from 6-8. If you are interested in helping come and see me (Stephanie).

EVENTS:
July 13- Movie and a Lock-in. (If you are planning on coming you will need a permission slip for your parents to sign)

Hi everyone! You don't know me yet but hopefully by the end of the summer we'll know each other. My name is Stephanie and I am blessed to have the opportunity to work with you this summer. I have started this blog so that I can do several things. First and most importantly it is a great way to contact all of you quickly. Secondly we can have a lot of fun on this.
